Goat Yoga is exactly what it sounds like, yoga with baby goats! Goat Yoga unites the mind, body, and soul in a way that eases tension while also promoting health in a uniquely fun way. Take a break to connect with nature. Not only will you feel reenergized from the laughter and movement, the stunning glacial views of the Tantalus Range of the Coast Mountains of British Columbia will provide peace of mind and serenity.

Your instructor will guide you through a series of movements and breathing techniques to encourage you to explore your body in a curious and light-hearted manner. After class, students will have 15 minutes to interact with the baby goats. Goat Yoga is for all levels of yogis. Whether it’s your first time or you have been practicing yoga for years, Goat Yoga will engage all your senses and leave you feeling uplifted.

You’ll learn all about our different farm animals, meet Boston Glacier Valley Farm’s original goat, and observe our BEE BNB and butterfly corridor. Enjoy a nice cup of chai in the picnic area surrounded by friendly interactive animals.

This class is intended for children to join in the fun with a parent/guardian. This class is loosely structured and goes with the flow for both children and adults. Open to children up to 12 years, this is only an age guide. If you have any questions please feel free to contact us. The cost of the class includes both the adult and the child in one booking.
Our baby goats are chosen for their kind and gentle nature. They love to explore, play and cuddle. They are not trained and can be spontaneous at times. We will have a staff member on hand to ensure you feel comfortable and safe throughout your visit.
Laura is a RYT 200-hr yoga instructor, a certified life coach, sports nutritionist, and personal trainer. She grew up in Lake Tahoe, CA, immersed in nature and outdoor pursuits. Her love for the mountains inspired the move to BC, where she graduated from Quest University. Now, she is passionate about using her understanding of connection

Our Hatha Flow Yoga classes are designed to be a uniquely playful experience, allowing you to tap into your zen with the help of our baby goats. Our goats, being friendly and cuddly in nature, will help motivate and challenge you to engage in mindfulness as they prance, jump, and climb around and on you.
Our Goat yoga is an all-levels Hatha Flow Yoga. It is great for anyone from beginner to experienced!
Hatha Yoga is a system of yoga introduced in the 15th century in India. This particular system of yoga is the most popular, and is the one from which several other styles of yoga is derived. Hatha Yoga is utilized to achieve balance between body and mind. This class is for all levels.
Goat Yoga classes are held at Glacier Valley Farms in the beautiful Squamish Valley of British Columbia.
Our farm looks out on the stunning Tantalus Mountain Range and provides a calming feeling the minute you step foot onto the grounds.
The classes are held outdoors. In the case of bad weather or extreme heat, we have a covered area where the sessions will be held.

Goat Yoga at Glacier Valley Farm, nestled in the mountains and the weather can be a little unpredictable. It is recommended to bring the following;
*Your own yoga mat. Due to safety protocols, we are unable to rent AND OR loan yoga mats.
*Water bottle, snacks
*Towel to lay over or under your mat (whichever you prefer)
*Light jacket or shawl for Savasana (shah-VAH-sah-nah or shih-VAH-snah). The final resting pose at the end of almost every yoga practice.
*Any medication you require for medical conditions or allergies.
*Dress according to the weather, with whatever is comfortable for you.
*Expect to get a little dirty, we are a farm after all.
Once parked near the Red barn. Please stop in at the check - in station and sign a waiver if you have not filled one out online we have hard copies for you to sign on the day.
Other important information to maximize your experience will be shared with you at this time.
This 1-hour class consists of 45 minutes of mindful movement followed by 15 minutes of interaction with the goats. Please remember that the goats will be jumping and playing around you during your practice.
Every one of every age of any fitness level is welcome at Goat Yoga!!! We love sharing this experience with everyone.
As with all fitness experiences, we recommend you consult your doctor prior to coming to see us if you have any medical conditions and / or pre-existing conditions. Pregnant women are also welcome, however we also recommend you consult your doctor prior to coming.
Little ones are also welcome at Goat Yoga. This is a wonderful opportunity for them to engage with animals. Please note that all participants will be required to sign a waiver release of liability form prior to class. All participants under the ages of 19 years must have a parent or legal guardian with them to sign their waiver.
